About Burlington Berries

Established in 2012, Burlington Berries is the largest privately owned berry farm in Tasmania. We’re located a short 40 minutes from Launceston and 2 hours from Hobart and our local town is Cressy. We are a rapidly expanding and dynamic family-owned business with about 50 hectares of strawberries, raspberries and blackberries under production.

With a seasonal team of over 400 people on site, from over 35 different countries, Burlington is a fun and busy place to be. Throughout the year, planting, growing, monitoring the crops and maintaining and sustaining the farm infrastructure is our focus. Come October/November, the crops are ready to be harvested and our focus is solely on producing, picking and packing perfect berries up until early June.

please ensure you can prove the following:

Blueberry or raspberry or strawberry picking experience (not essential)

Physically fit and able to work extended hours and flexible shifts

Committed to getting to work on time

Not Allergic to wasps and bees

Committed to the whole season

Benefits:

5 or 6 days a week, Monday to Sunday.
Blueberries are paid per kilogram
Paid in line with the Burlington Berries Enterprise Agreement, pays rates are above the Horticulture Award
