Senior stable/stud hands at Luskin Park

Luskin Park is a Pre-Training and Agistment Farm, based at Luskintyre (just 50 mins from Newcastle) the successful applicant will be responsible for the care of all thoroughbred race horses, including pre-trainers and spellers.

Your duties will include:

• Daily care and supervision of pre-trainers and spellers
• Assisting in the education and conditioning of young horses
• General yard duties
• Feed runs
• Assisting vets, farriers, dentists
• Saddling up for riders
• Farm maintenance
• Potential to go to local race meetings

To be successful:

• Racehorse experience desirable but not essential, will consider other disciplines
• Computer literacy – training can be provided for our software system
• Great communication skills
• Previous experience with towing desirable but not essential
• Must be able to work weekends

Full-time and Part-time positions available.
