Qualitative Research Assistant (Hybrid – Entry Level with Growth Pathways)
About the Role
Halcyon Knights - Recruitment & Staffing is seeking a motivated and curious Qualitative Research Assistant to support our research and people insights projects. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct qualitative research, including interviews, focus groups, and desk research, under guidance from senior team members
- Assist in data transcription, coding, and thematic analysis
- Prepare concise research summaries, presentations, and reports for internal and client-facing use
- Support project coordination by maintaining accurate records and timelines
- Collaborate with consultants and researchers on ongoing projects, ensuring quality and consistency
- Participate in team discussions, offering insights and contributing to creative problem-solving
What We’re Looking For
- A degree (or current study) in Social Sciences, Psychology, Business, HR, or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Basic familiarity with qualitative research methods (coding, thematic analysis, or similar) is preferred but not mandatory
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace
- A proactive, learning-oriented mindset, eager to grow with guidance
