Store Assistant/All Rounder

Great opportunity for working holiday makers to experience life in the Gulf Country of northwest Queensland.

Normanton Food Works is currently recruiting to fill Shop Assistant/All Rounders positions in the store. The ideal candidates will be familiar with retail and/or warehousing operations, are keen to learn about Australian indigenous culture, and are looking to experience life in regional/remote Australia.

Normanton Foodworks (NFW) is a newly established retail complex located on the main street of Normanton in QLD's pristine Gulf Country. Normanton is located 700 km west of Cairns and is accessible by sealed roads or plane.

Duties may include:
General customer service, including serving customers at the registers.

General cleaning & housekeeping duties as required.

Restocking shelves and display areas, including fridges and freezers.

Kitchen hand and food preparation duties,
