Seasonal FOH Roles – Spend Summer on Phillip Island

Phillip Island Winery is recruiting casual front-of-house team members now, with roles available as we build towards summer and work continuing through the peak season and into autumn.

Spend the season surrounded by Phillip Island’s incredible beaches and coastline, with predominantly daytime hours and plenty to enjoy outside work.

At the Winery, you’ll also be joining a pretty special crew. They’re the people who make the place what it is – warm, welcoming, hands-on and always ready to pitch in for each other when things get busy.

THE OPPORTUNITIES

We have several casual roles available across:

• Restaurant service
• Bar and beverage service
• Cellar door and wine tastings
• Weddings and events
• General front-of-house support

We’re recruiting people with different levels of hospitality experience and will match successful applicants to the work that best suits their skills and interests.

Some roles need previous experience. Every role needs the right attitude.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We want good humans who are:

• Positive, reliable and ready to pitch in
• Warm and genuine with guests
• Comfortable working as part of a close team
• Willing to learn and take feedback
• Available across weekends, public holidays and peak summer dates

Previous experience in a restaurant, winery, cellar door, bar, café or events environment will be valuable.

A current Victorian RSA will be required for roles involving alcohol service. If you don’t yet have one, you must be willing to obtain it before commencing in a relevant role.

Working Holiday Makers and travellers with valid Australian working rights are welcome to apply.

WHAT THE SEASON LOOKS LIKE

• Roles available to commence now and throughout the lead-up to summer
• Work continuing through summer and into autumn
• At least 10 hours per week, with opportunities for more during peak periods
• Hours generally between 10am and 6pm, with some additional or extended hours for weddings and events
• Casual rates under the Hospitality Industry (General) Award, including applicable penalty rates
• Based at Phillip Island Winery in Ventnor

Accommodation isn’t provided, but we can share a current guide to options around Phillip Island and the surrounding area, including hostel or backpacker-style accommodation where available.

You will need to be able to travel reliably to and from the Winery for shifts.
