Egg Farm Workers

We require enthusiastic Poultry Farm Workers for our new Cage Free egg farm at Teesdale and our farms at Lethbridge and Winchelsea in the Geelong Victoria region.

NO ACCOMMODATION IS AVAILABLE ON FARM. You must find your own accommodation. You must have reliable car/transport.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:
Handling chickens, General cleaning, other farm operational duties as required.
To be successful for this position:
You should have some previous animal farm experience, preferably in Egg farming or Broiler farming.
Be physically fit and healthy
Be honest and reliable
Be able to work with limited supervision.
Be happy to get your hands dirty!
Preferably have basic Mechanical or other Technical maintenance skills.
• Must have valid working visa. We do not offer Visa sponsorship.
Have a strong work ethic.
Have driver's licence and access to own reliable transportation (essential).
Having other licences such as truck, forklift, etc. would be an advantage.
Be available for flexible working hours, and able to work weekends and public holidays when required.
Due to biosecurity, candidates are not permitted to have any form of poultry and/or birds at home.
This position will provide a pathway to future promotion.
Poultry Farm Workers Casual Award Pay rate, starting at $29.33 per hour.
