Job Title: Bar Attendant

 

Location: The Drovers Dog Tavern Eumungerie 

Department: Food & Beverage

Reports To: Supervisor

 

Job Summary:

The Bar Attendant is responsible for preparing and serving beverages to guests in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner. This role includes maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring guest satisfaction, and adhering to all health and safety regulations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests.
  • Take drink orders from guests or servers.
  • Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the bar, including counters, utensils, and equipment.
  • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
  • Handle payments and operate point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • Check guest identification to verify legal drinking age.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies.
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve any guest concerns promptly.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties of the bar.

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • Ability to work in a semi fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Basic math and cash-handling

Reports To: Kitchen Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our kitchen team. As a member of the kitchen staff, you will assist in food preparation, maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards, and ensure smooth operations in the kitchen.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist chefs and cooks with food preparation and basic cooking tasks
  • Wash, peel, and chop vegetables and fruits
  • Clean and sanitize workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment
  • Ensure food items are properly stored and labeled
  • Maintain kitchen inventory and inform supervisors of stock shortages
  • Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
  • Dispose of waste and keep the kitchen environment tidy
  • Support in receiving and organizing kitchen deliveries

 

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Previous kitchen or food service experience is a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items
