Panel Beater | Melbourne (Multiple Sites)

My client is seeking multiple Panel Beaters to join his four Automotive workshops across Melbourne. In this role, you will be delivering high-quality panel beating to clients. With a reputation built on precision, premium materials, and a commitment to restoring every vehicle to its original condition, we are now looking for an experienced Panel Beaters to join the team. This is a hands-on trade role for someone who takes their craft seriously and holds themselves to a high standard on every job that comes through the workshop.

Key responsibilities

• Disassemble damaged sections, removing parts, accessories, and upholstery to facilitate repairs
• Utilise specialized mechanical and hydraulic tools to realign vehicle chassis and components
• Employ precise hammering methods to eliminate dents and recover the original panel contours
• Perform welding tasks to cut and integrate new or used replacement sections as needed
• Execute surface finishing by applying plastic filler followed by grinding, filing, and sanding
• Install restored or new panels and reassemble hardware such as trim and door locks
• Provide support for the restoration and assembly of specialty, vintage, or custom vehicles
• Carry out vehicle spray-painting duties when necessary

What you'll bring

• Trade qualification or equivalent hands-on experience in your field
• A strong work ethic and pride in the quality of your work
• Reliability and a team-first attitude
• A current driver's licence
• Own tools of trade would be highly regarded
